Well suppose it catching up time.

The 'Walk' I have planned with my dad, the one across Britain, alot of people have said that I should do this sponsored. Seems a good enough idea. I want to do the walk anyways, might as well raise some money for a charity. Now here is were the problem starts. There is no single charity that I have in mind to give any money raised too.
So how do you go about picking one single charity to raise money for when none of the causes the charities are fighting for has effected you?

Anyways, moving on. Found out on Thursday that I have been asked to do a weeks work down in London in the head office. Just a Q and A session on the systems. Which I am looking forward too. Except I am going with one person I dont get too well on with. Whats does a lonely wooly back do in the Capital for a week?

Yes way Jose

Well my first morning in London. I tried the whole walking to work, via Green Park, which was a fabulous difference to what Im normal use to. Bought a coffee too.

Seen quiet a few police officers with rather large guns, which scared me quite a bit. But the biggest surprise was when I got to work as there were some protestors stood outside the building in monkey suits.

What a way to start a day.

Chelski

So, it seems that the reasons for the men carrying the big guns is to not shoot at the confused American bears stook in a time warp, but they are actually guarding Scotland Yard. Makes a little more sense, as now I'm happy that its not hunting season on these bears.

Anyways, back to something that makes a little sense.
Trying to find a good pub to watch the Chelsea game in I was advised to go the Sports Cafe, Haymarket.  So we headed there on the premises that the beer was cheap, there were plenty of screens to see the game on and that the bar staff wore short skirts.
It turns out the screens are plentyful, ONLY the female bar staff wore short skirts and the beer wqas far from cheap. So we left.

There is a nice pub round the corner from the hotel, called 'Samuel Pepys.' We headed here to watch the game and to eat. Being in a happy mood when buying my second round of drinks I had said to the bar maid "and your own." Which I dont think she quite understood. So I said to her, "a tip!" to which she replied,
"oh, I drink fosters too" and took a two pound tip. Which I though was absolutely ace. Although I did not tip her at all for the rest of the night.

Also got my first spotted.
Me, walking down Picadilly Road saying to a friend, whilst holding my camera, "I NEED! to take more photographs, something interesting." When along walks past Matt Lucas. I missed the photo opportunity.

In other news, I learned how to use chopsticks thanks to the nice lady at chopstix, Leicester Square.

Back up

What does your Pig say about you?

The single best white rapper since Elvis, Slo-Mo.

Speaking of respected rappers, here is Mr T. I don't know if he ever had a rap career, I very much doubt it. But I'd of loved to of seen him do an 'A-team rap.' Anyways, here for my viewing pleasure later, and your now if you want Mr T.

Mineral Water? Anyone?

So last night, work had given us free tickets to see Saturday Night Fever. And they were good seats too.
Wasn't too sure how I would feel about this, not the biggest Beegee fan, but they do have some good disco tracks.
Not too much of a surprise but I really enjoyed it. Made alot funnier by the cheesey script and fantastic 'Monty the DJ.'
If you have not seen this yet but are planning to, I highly recommend it.

Also, spotted today. Man falling from a bicycle, I hope he is okay.

Boys do lie

So, went heading off to David and Goliath shop to buy a present for a friend. And as I was heading for the way out from Oxford Circus one of the escalators has about ten zillion Britney Spears 'Curious' perfume adverts.
I was just really spooked when moving up the escalator seeing Spears image after image after image. Its quite hypnotic, in a torturous way. This could lead to alot of falling when at the top of the escalator.

Not quite a motion to picture

So, goign up and down in elevators alot today. Mainly due to lack of stairs. I'm starting to feel a little light headed now.

What would happen if you were to go up and down one floor for maybe half an hour, one hour. Or perhaps even an entire day. Would that be good for the body?
