So I had the works Christmas drinks last night. It wasnt anything to write home about. I wasn't allowed to rob the Christmas cape like thingy and strip down to nothing but the cape. It was one of them kind of boring parties.

Although I do think that I may be losing my touch on women of late. Either that or the little voice in my head that normal tells moi to talk to girls was asleep due to my early start in work yesterday. Or maybe Im interested in a girl at the moment so the little voice in my head was on holiday. Who knows, but....
Basically in one bar there was a very pretty girl who caught my eye. And as you know in these situations you'd look for signals that the other person has seen you. Maybe theyll look over at you and hold a glance your way for a little longer then normal. Maybe a smile. Well last night this particualr girl waved to moi a few times. Now looking at things retrospectival I can safely say that a 'wave' would be a sign that a girl likes you. So instead of walking over, chatting, swapping names and seeing were the night would take us, I instead waved back and carried on drinking with work colleagues.

Anyway, the rest of the night led to moi getting lost in a fast fooed restaurant. Then heading around aisle ways looking for hidden bars, which I did on my first attempt. I thought the nice new bar I found was giving away free trilby's, but apperntly the ones that were randomly placed on the top floor were infact the bar owners/promoters.
Also there was another group of people. A mixture of dressed up chavs, a group of girls and what could only be best described as "IT guys." I could only assume this was a works night out. And agian there was a girl who kept looking over at moi quite alot. Was it because she was trying to get my attention, maybe it was I was sat on my own or perhaps she was interested in my trilby. But she did on a few occasions walk past moi and smile at moi. But she was surrounded by her female work colleagues which would of made any attempt by moi to talk to her almost sucidal. Its one thing to walk up to a girl in a bar, its a whole different story attempting to make conversation with an entire table of girls.

If Im to move to Leeds and have any hope of meeting new people I need to make sure the little voice in my head is always around to tell moi to approach people.

Anyway, Im off to scare people away from eBay. Ive been outbid on 3 identical items now and its annoying.

(EDIT) ps. this is something I have been waiting for for a while. Everyone can now check their Gmail account from their phone. Simply type in 'http://m.gmail.com' on to their phone browser and there you go. (Hey can anyone actually read their mails using this? - Ed)
